ABOUT OUR FARM

We are a small family farm specializing in unique varieties of heirloom cut flowers and foliage. Think of those favorites that spark memories like fragrant sweet peas, zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers, snapdragons, and dahlias. We also grow a wide variety of fragrant bouquet fillers and textures; always looking for new varieties that thrive in our garden and add beauty to the lives of our customers. Our sustainably grown flowers are cut to order, giving you the freshest flowers possible.

 

When I started growing many years ago, I was focused on edibles and didn't see the point in growing something you couldn't eat. But over time, I have found that it is flowers that bring me the most joy in the garden. If you have never planted flowers in your garden before, I dare you to tuck a few sunflowers or dahlias in with your veggies this season and see what happens to you!

 

The farm is run by Cara Bratseth with help from her husband and three children. Blossomy Flower Farm is located in Powell River, BC, a small town nestled between the mountains and the sea.
